Digital Design Manager (10-12 months Maternity Cover Contract)

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Design Manager to join the Oliver Bonas team on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our digital design function, managing the day-today operations for both digital design and UX on the Oliver Bonas website.

With your strong eye for detail and a passion for digital design, you will have the ability to work across multiple digital touch points. Taking the lead on pushing boundaries, think creatively and challenge designs for the better.

Our Support Office is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo. We offer hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days home working each week.

An OB Digital Design Manager will:

• Manage a small team of digital designers delivering homepage and website design, content
• changes, email campaigns and marketing assets
• Oversee the publication of content and designs via our CMS system
• Lead the creation and implementation of digital design strategies that align with our brand
• values and business objectives
• Key holder of coming up with design concepts for the website / emails, making sure all assets
• are aligned and have been executed to a high standard.
• Take ownership of projects from conception to completion, ensuring all requirements are met
• on time and to exacting standards
• Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimise team productivity and business
• processes
• Take a data-driven approach to design decisions to enhance user experience and drive
• conversion
• Maintain and evolve the Oliver Bonas digital brand identity across all online touchpoints
• Stay informed on emerging design trends, incorporating fresh ideas to the team

What We look for:

• BA degree in graphic/website design
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud & Figma applications
• Proven experience managing a team of digital designers in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong technical understanding of fashion and lifestyle ecommerce websites
• Experience with content management systems and email building platforms
• Excellent understanding of UX principles and best practices
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality design standards
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
