We have a great opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our Stock Control Team in our Warehouse here in Chessington

35 Hours, Sunday to Thursday

Sun (14:45pm-22:45pm) Mon (14:45pm-22:45pm) Tues (14:45pm-22:45pm) Weds (14:45pm-22:45pm) Thurs (14:45pm-22:45pm)

As a Stock Controller at OB you will be responsible for ensuring the Warehouse Management System accurately reflects the physical sock we have in the bin locations.

Reporting to the Stock Control Team Leader, you will work in collaboration communicating

the stock counts levels, discrepancies, and adjustments to a variety of internal teams.

OB Stock Controller will:

  • Carry out stock counts and adjust the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to reflect any variances found
  • Produce empty bin reports and check locations
  • Perform physical stock and system movement
  • Run stock reports from WMS (PVX, futura)
  • Investigate failed actions from pick bins and create replenishment reports for Forklift Truck Driver team
  • Liaise with the Goods-In and Accounts team and assist with stock investigations
  • Update the customer internal branch transfer (IBT) database on a daily basis
  • Challenge exclusionary behaviour and your support your team members
  • Help support in other Warehouse Teams when required.
  • Ensure that you work in accordance with the company health and safety policies

What we look for:

  • You will need good mathematics and analytical skills
  • You will have good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • A Counter balance Forklift and Flexi Truck license would be desirable but not essential
  • Excellent knowledge of Peoplevox and Futura WMS
  • Must be comfortable working with Windows and Android handheld scanners and in-house warehouse systems
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Focus on diligence and accuracy
  • Happy to work on different shift rota’s
  • Ability to perform the same task on a daily basis while striving to maintain a high standard at all times
  • Must by physically fit as this role involves lots of walking and lifting
