We have an amazing opportunity for an Assistant Team Leader in Stock Control, to join Team OB in our Warehouse.

The Shift Pattern for this role is Sunday to Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm, 35 hours per week.

As an Assistant Team Leader for Stock Control at OB you will carry out the responsibilities of a Senior Stock Controller, as well as stepping up to support the Team Leader in stock management. You will also support the team and the day-to-day running of the department in the absence of the Team Leader. You will be an experienced stock controller and have solid knowledge of all stock control procedures and processes, and have a developed understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).You will support the Team Leader to ensure the WMS accurately reflects the physical stock holding in the bin locations, as well as helping to co-ordinate the workload amongst the team You will be responsible for making stock movements both on the WMS and physically in the Warehouse.

Our Support Office is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo.

An OB Assistant Team Leader for Stock Control will:

  • Support the Team Leader to manage the perpetual inventory (PI) stock counts and adjust the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to reflect any variances found.
  • Help perform physical stock and system movements.
  • Produce and analyse stock reports from WMS (PVX, futura)
  • Help investigate failed actions from pick bins and create replenishment reports for the Forklift Truck Driver team.
  • Explore the differences between system reports and physically held stock Investigate any out-of-stock orders in PVX/Futura/Magento and amend accordingly.
  • Attend the weekly Team Leader meetings in the absence of your Team Leader
  • Conduct return to work meetings with the Team Members, seeking support from your TL or the People team if needed.
  • Make sure that our health and safety policy is strictly followed by your Team Members with the support of your TL.
  • Support your TL in collating statistical data to contribute to our company monthly stat pack.

What we look for:

  • Good mathematical and analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • A Counterbalance Forklift and Flexi Truck license would be desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of People Vox and Futura WMS
  • Must be conscientious and can work under pressure.
  • Must be comfortable working with Windows and Android handheld scanners and in-house warehouse systems.
  • Happy to work on different shift rota’s.
  • Ability to perform the same task daily while striving to maintain a high standard at all times.
  • Must by physically fit as this role involves lots of walking and lifting.
