We have an amazing opportunity for a Picking Team Leader to join Team OB in our Warehouse.

The Shift Pattern for this role will be 8:00am-4:00pm, on a rotating monthly shift pattern of Sunday to Thursday, and then Monday to Friday.

As a Picking Team Leader at OB you will be responsible for managing and coordinating a team of approximately 20 Warehouse Assistants and two Assistant Team Leaders.

You will oversee the workload for the day and allocate picks to relevant individuals, while monitoring their performance accordingly to ensure that KPI’s are met.

Reporting to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, you will work in collaboration to motivate and inspire the Picking team to work as efficiently and effectively as they can.

Our Support Office is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo. We are working a 50/50 split of office and home working and are open to having conversations about working flexibly.

An OB Picking Team Leader will:

Ensure that store picks are completed accurately and in line with expected targets.
Organise deliveries with the internal Logistics team and relevant couriers.
Plan pick schedules for marketplace partners.
Organise marketplace stock to be re-labelled and dispatched correctly.
Create commercial invoices for stock to the EU.
Work with other Team Leaders to ensure all warehouse departments are working together and offering support when needed.
Start the day by releasing picks and distributing them to the Picking team.
Generate end of shift reports and dispatch all picks via the Warehouse Management System
Plan and hold motivating and informative monthly meetings with your team.
Plan team rosters and authorize holiday leave while ensuring the team can manage expected pick forecast volumes.
Conduct regular 121s with the team and provide coaching and constructive feedback on performance.

What we look for:

Previous experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Familiar with handheld terminals including windows CE and Android devices.
Proven experience of leading and motivating a team a medium sized team
Confident communicator
You will be calm under pressure.
You will be comfortable and confident presenting statistical data.
Strong planning and organizational skills
Competent in Microsoft Office, in particular, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be physically fit and active as role requires frequent walks of the warehouse.
