We have an amazing opportunity for a Goods Out/Dispatch Assistant Warehouse Team Leader to join Team OB in our Warehouse in Andover.


37.5 Hours

Sunday (13:30pm-21:30pm) Monday (13:30pm-21:30pm) Tuesday (13:30pm-21:30pm) Wednesday (13:30pm-21:30pm) Thursday (13:30pm-21:30pm)

We ask for some flexibility around peak periods and team holidays.


Our Warehouse is based at Unit 2, 40 Stephenson Close, East Portway Industrial Estate, Andover, SP10 3RU.


As a Goods Out/Dispatch Assistant Warehouse Team Leader at OB you will be responsible supporting your Team Leader in a wide range of admin functions that underpin the Goods out operation. You will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating stock functions to support the work load, discrepancies, warehouse space and operations. You will also review and look after packing and dispatching, ensuring all orders are dispatched inline with SLAs and customer standards.


You will work in collaboration with your manager to motivate and inspire the Andover team to provide a smooth service for our customers. monitoring the team’s performance to ensure that KPIs are met in the Warehouse Manager’s absence.

More about the role …

As an OB Goods out/Dispatch Assistant Warehouse Team Leader, you will:

  • Make sure that all orders that need to be, in line with SLAs are packed and dispatched accordingly.
  • You will ensure that all orders that need to be sent with Evri are gone on time and any issues are escalated.
  • Monitor and chase next day SLA orders to ensure they are picked, packed and shipped on time for next day delivery
  • Check the daily work planner at the start of the shift to ensure all team members are working in the allocated task they have been assigned to.
  • Check the furniture against the checklist to ensure that the collection is correct.
  • Make sure that incident and accident forms are completed when necessary and sent to the Health and Safety team
  • Check that any emails, teams messages are responded to accordingly. If the incident/query is not urgent, please direct to the relevant ATL on the AM shift for the next day
  • Ensure that weekly Bulk/Pick locations are reviewed and monitored
  • Provide a detailed and accurate handover between PM and AM shift – Pick up any issues on the handover that has not been completed in the AM.
  • Check that if there are goods in that need to be put away, it is received, counted and ready to go away that it goes away – providing there has been an appropriate handover supplied.
  • Ensure that the IBT spreadsheet is kept on top of and any items that need to be sent are dropped and ready for the next morning.
  • Ensure top ups are done daily and ready for the next day.
  • Produce and analyse stock reports from WMS (PVX, Futura)
  • Explore the differences between system reports and physically held stock

What we look for:

  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to motivate others.
  • Familiar with handheld terminals including Windows CE and Android devices
  • The role will require the use of Microsoft Office, in particular, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be physically fit as the role involves regular lifting
  • Focus on diligence and accuracy
  • Have a Forklift Licence/ Or willingness to be trained
