We have an amazing opportunity for a Marketing Assistant - Growth to join Team OB in our Support Office.

As a Marketing Assistant - Growth at OB you will have the opportunity to work across two key areas of the business, driving forward our growth initiatives. This is a new and important role to support our growth team in delivering on key acquisition & retention projects, in order to meet our goals for 2023 and beyond.

You will also work closely with the wider marketing, creative, content teams to ensure the right products are shown to the right audiences, with a best-in-class creative approach.

This role will provide excellent introductory experience to both acquisition and retention marketing.

Our Support Office is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo. We are working a 50/50 split of office and home working.

An OB Marketing Assistant – Growth will:

• Support across both retention & acquisition, with a focus on campaign builds, automation & reporting

• Work with our customer data and experience platform, Bloomreach and other software to support with CRM use cases across email, onsite personalisation, ad audiences, customer data, surveys, segmentation and reporting

• Work with the CRM Executive, wider marketing and design and content teams to deliver our newsletter and automated email campaigns, briefing content and products, checking links and segmenting and scheduling the sends ensuring emails are delivered to the highest standard

• Work across Meta & Google ad platforms to support Performance Marketing Executive with ad creation, including creative briefing and copywriting, ensuring ads are kept up to date and new copy variations tested

• Write our Affiliate weekly newsletters, keeping publishers up to date with the latest offers & products

• Deliver growth channel reporting, looking at campaign KPIs, performance and database health focusing on actionable insights to help drive engagement and conversion on future campaigns and identifying trends and risks

• Support with the development and deployment of the campaign testing strategy, identifying opportunities for optimisation and actioning insights

• Monitor competitors and stay abreast of industry trends to identify opportunities

• Work closely with our creative & product teams to align creative strategy to our trade calendar & best performing products, briefing in creative requirements where necessary

• Admin and housekeeping including Bloomreach compliance queries, data processing and monthly competition winners

• Assist with creation customer segments and insights for CRM campaigns including email and ad audiences to drive personalisation and campaign performance with a focus on customer lifecycle and RFM targeting

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships

• A passion for our brand and products, understand retail and general consumer buying behaviour

• Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to tight deadlines

• Positive attitude and be self-motivated with a willingness to learn

• Enthusiasm for digital marketing, keen to stay up to date with the latest insights & trends

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to write engaging copy, accurate spelling and punctuation

• Prior experience in a marketing role preferred
