We have an amazing opportunity for a Returns Shuttle Driver to join Team OB in our Warehouse.

The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 6:45am-2:45pm.

As the Returns Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for transporting returned stock, both from our stores and from customer online orders, between our Davis Road and Lion Park Avenue warehouses.

When you’re not doing shuttle runs between the warehouses, you will support with stock returns processing and housekeeping.

Reporting into the Returns Team Leader, you will be communicating and collaborating with multiple departments across the business to ensure a smooth returns operation.

Our Warehouse and Support Office is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo.

A Returns Shuttle Driver will:

Wrap, prepare and load pallets onto the van, ensuring it is legally compliant, and secure stock to minimise breakages
Collect internal post and take to the relevant site with the returned stock
Carry out daily vehicle inspections at the start of each shift, reporting any damage to the Returns Team Leader immediately
Unload pallets of stock, empty pallets and crates at either warehouse in a timely manner
Support shift handover to ensure we are set up for the incoming shift
Support other Departments moving pallets across sites when needed
Report any road traffic accidents to the Returns Team Leader as soon as possible
Receive returned stock from website and store returns via courier service and Royal Mail,
Store empty skates, pallets and crates in the correct location and remove any that may be in walkways or down Warehouse aisles
Ensure the Warehouse is a safe environment, by following health and safety regulations and our Company Health and Safety policy

What we look for:

Clean UK drivers licence
Physically fit and able to walk or stand for long periods of time, as well as being able to carry out some heavy lifting
Maintain a full knowledge of the highway code and vehicle operation procedures
Team player, kind and helpful towards others
Adaptable and able to learn new processes
Accuracy, even when working at a fast pace
Perform similar tasks on a daily basis, always maintaining a high standard of work
