We are looking for a Garment Tech Admin Assistant to join Team OB in our Support Office.
As a Garment Tech Admin Assistant at OB, you will provide support to ensure the smooth running of the department, enabling the tech team to help suppliers successfully deliver the product on time and to the required Oliver Bonas standard. You will work closely with our Designers, Buyers, Quality Control and Warehouse teams as well as our suppliers.
Our Support Office is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo. We offer hybrid working with a split of 3 days in the office and 2 days home working per week, and are open to having conversations about working flexibly.

An OB Garment Tech Admin Assistant will:
- Prepare for fit meetings by collecting all relevant samples and ensuing that all tech packs are available and updated
- Assist in measuring garments prior to fit sessions
- Assist in chasing test reports from suppliers and compile weekly reports
- Initiate and action wearer trials when needed across all categories
- Contribute to product improvements through technical research
- Attend the monthly meeting with the QC team and update tech team
- Chase sustainable material/product certification from suppliers and compile reports
- Order and prepare samples and help in fit reviews
- Compile seasonal seal rate for all product areas
- Keep suppliers up to date with our technical standards and procedures
- Liaise with Technologists across the business to ensure standards are consistent
- Contribute to product improvements through technical research
- Be the first point of contact for booking models
- Ensure all samples are labelled and stored
- Admin tasks such as reviewing stationary, post and filing

What we look for:
- Relevant qualifications or experience
- Knowledge of garment construction, grading and manufacturing methods and basic patter cutting would be an advantage
- Ability to fit soft accessories will be an advantage
- Knowledge of different fibres & fabrics is essential
- Knowledge of wash care symbols and labels preferred
- Interest and basic understanding of sustainability
- A team player who has the willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- An enthusiasm to learn with a can-do approach
- Proactive and adaptable to change
- An ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Good planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Competent knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail
