Pick Team Trainer - Seasonal Support Role

We have some great opportunities in the Pick Team to support, gain experience and earn some extra money over the Christmas period.
The Christmas peak is always a busy time here at OB and the Pick Team are looking for some incredible Team members to step into our seasonal support roles. We have a great opportunity for someone to become a Pick Team Trainer over the peak period.
As a pick team trainer, you will support the warehouse picking team leaders to ensure that seasonal team members and agency staff all have a full inductions and on the job training. This will include using 360L resources and health and safety documentation sign off.
When not carrying out inductions or training, you would be expected to carry out your normal duties.
This role will be offered on a fixed term contract between 29th of September and the 4th of January 2026. After this date, you would revert to your current job role.
There are 2 shift patterns available for this role:
- Sunday to Thursday 6:45am-2:45pm
- Tuesday to Saturday 6:45am-2:45pm

A Pick Trainer at OB will....
· Training seasonal team members and agency staff using 360L and giving hands-on training.
· Ensure all new starters have the relevant equipment to ensure they can do their work effectively and safely. As well as locker and access pass are provided.
· Ensure that Inductions and all health and safety training is carried out and relevant documentation is signed and saved before new starters enter the warehouse.
· Liaise with the People team and recruitment team to ensure all information required for new starters has been captured.
· Completing temporary staff admin documents including a hours record spreadsheet.
· Escalate any performance concerns to team leaders.
· Provide a comprehensive tour of the Warehouse and Support Office.
· Keep a safe and clean working environment at all times
· Follow all Health and Safety Measures in place including wearing a high viz jacket and safety shoes
· Attend daily/weekly team meetings
· Develop your own self awareness and understanding on diversity and inclusivity
